Removing and installing front wheel housing liner

Removing and installing front wheel housing liner

Removal and installation are described for the left side of vehicle as an example.

For reasons of clarity, the front axle is not shown in the illustrations of the following work procedures.

Location and number of bolts and expanding nuts vary depending on model.

Removing

– Lever off spreader rivets -3-.

– Unscrew bolts -4-.

– Unclip flap -1- in direction of -arrow A-.

– Pull out front wheel housing liner -2-.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

– Clip in flap -1- in direction of -arrow A-.

– Align front wheel housing liner -2-.

– Secure flap -1- with spreader rivets -2-.

Tightening torques

Removing

– Remove rear wheel → Running gear, axles, steering; Rep. gr.44; Wheels, tyres; Removing wheel.

– Unscrew bolts -2-.

– Pull out rear wheel housing liner -1-.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
