For reasons of clarity, front seats are not shown in illustration.

Removing

– Using commercially available plastic wedge -3-, unclip rear centre console trim -2- upwards from fasteners in centre console -1-.

– If fitted, disconnect electrical connector:

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

– Press on rear centre console trim until retaining tabs engage audibly.

Tightening torques

Removing

– Using commercially available plastic wedge -2-, unclip centre console insert -1- from fasteners in centre console -3-.

Installing

Install in reverse order.

Removing

– Remove centre console insert → Rep. gr.68; Removing and installing centre console insert.

– Remove rear centre console trim → Rep. gr.68; Removing and installing rear centre console trim.

– Unscrew bolts -1- and -3-.

– Push centre console -2- backwards slightly in direction of -arrow- and remove.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Removing

– Remove front seats → Rep. gr.72; Removing and installing front seat.

– Remove front sill panel mouldings → Rep. gr.70; Removing and installing front sill panel moulding.

– Remove lower A-pillar trims → Rep. gr.70; Removing and installing lower A-pillar trim.

– Remove tunnel support cover → Rep. gr.70; Removing and installing tunnel support cover.

– Remove centre console → Rep. gr.68; Removing and installing centre console.

– Fold back floor covering in the middle.

– Unscrew bolts -2- and -3-.

– Remove front centre console bracket -1-.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
